STYLE THIS: Goodbye, August!

Thursday, August 29, 2013
Hello everyone!
This is my very first post on the blog! I hope to grow this blog with fashion and other fun things! To start off, I will be posting finds and things that I love, along with current trends! Eventually, I would like to do my own original posts, with real-clothing outfits assembled by me!

So, in a few days, we say goodbye to August 2013! August is always one of the fastest months of the year in my opinion because it is the end of summer and the beginning of school, so everything seems to move faster! This post is true to the blogs name: cute n comfy! When studying and working, it's important to be comfortable! Just because you are around other people doesn't mean you can't wear comfortable clothes! Here are a few of my ideas for outfits in these situations:

Outfit Number 1: This sweatshirt is probably my favorite article of clothing I've ever owned. Though this may be a bit of an exageration, it seriously is one of the softest, and cutest fitting sweatshirts I've come across! I ordered a size larger than my usual size, though, because I like the fit to be large! The reason why I included a bra here, is not because I support huge mid-drifts (i don't) but because I simply think the most comfortable thing you can wear is a super soft sweatshirt and a comfy lululemon bra! The jean shorts add a tiny bit of color with the embroidered accents, and the sunglasses continue the black and white theme. These flip flops are a favorite of mine, they are so squishy and sparkly! It's not a crazy amount of sparkle, but it's just right!

Outfit Number 2: I chose another Wildfox shirt (sorry but they are so soft) because this one represents my state! Texas, y'all! I would tuck the shirt into some dark colored high-waisted shorts, like these great ones from one of my very favorite online boutiques! The vans same 'murica and, honestly what else could you ask for?

Outfit Number 3: Alright, I worked real hard on this one so I hope you guys like it! Okay, so I planned out the first two, but this one i created as I went...and apparently I have a large small obsession with Wildfox shirts! Anyways, this is a loose and comfortable thin strapped graphic tank coupled with a dip dyed free people plndr. The octangonal sunglasses have been on my wishlist for a while now, I like them for their unique shape! The plndr oxfords are a gorgeous combination of classic oxford style with a modern transparent window! The final part, the free people leather (it think vegan) backpack completes the look with its fringe and studded accents.

I hope y'all enjoyed my first group of outfits! More to come soon!
